My nan was the sweetest lady you could ever meet. She was 99 years old when she passed away, she was
blind and very immobile but she had all her faculties and was a great person with a fab sense of
humour.
She loved her life, and loved her family. Jac my son loved her, he was 3 when she died but he still
remembers her as nanny banana, she always gave him bananas when we went to see her.
She was in hospital towards the end of her life as she'd had a fall. I went to see her and she
stroked my face. Do not cry when i go she said, i want you to be happy, i no it won't be long now.
I never saw my Nan again as she passed soon after.
Since losing my dear nan i've had depression and panic attacks which i've felt guilty about as she
told me to be happy.
I miss her so much but i no she was ready to go as she wanted to be reunited with her husband Cliff
and my Dad.
My nan used to keep a photo of her husband, my grandad who i never got to meet. I now have that
photo, next to it i have a photo of my nan so they are still togetether. If my son moves it i always
move it back, it feels right they should be by each other.

YOU WERE SO SMALL BUT HAD SO MUCH LOVE TO GIVE.
YOU WERE ONE SPECIAL LADY, YOU STILL ARE.
